| hey folks its an update. This saturday I am going to my friend's (Kevin) birthday party at SLGC. Paden has been talking quite the smack about how he has battle for middle earth II and keeps saying that he will beat me. Well this saturday (provided Paden can go) his words will be put to the test. I have only played this game once and will have some pretty novice teammates, I mean kevin almost never plays any strategic games. Anyhow most chicks are probably just wierded out by this and probably don't care or are going to use this to torment me, but this entry will fill Paden with fear, because........................

(this is an excuse so that I can show these pictures off and delete them to bring in some new pics and animations)

Well maybe it is just me, but the spring break sure did go by faster than I would have liked. It was pretty fun though, Tanner and I pulled off a pretty good 2 versus 3 victory against Dillon, Paden, and Stephen in Battle for Middle Earth II. Brady and I are writing scripts and musical scores for a movie we are making.
This might just be me as well, but Carly seems to be on top of everybody's ass. Paden, Justin?(whoever dang_good_bbq is, I think that is his name), Brady and Tanner. But Brady and Tanner brought it on themselves by dissing her. WAY TO GO GUYS!!!!!!! So now Carly and I are in this insult/retort match. It's a lot of fun. I am waiting for her to threaten to bring some big guy to kick my ass. I'm in the mood for a good fight.
Anyhow that's all I have to say

| (I've always liked writing arguments so bear with me here)
Everybody says there are two things in life that are unavoidable, death and taxes. This is true, but I think that there is a third unavoidable part of life. Pain. Pain and suffering are the same thing, and these are unavoidable parts of life. It is human nature to shy away from pain, but there are plenty of natural inpulses that we can keep under control. But, why not pain? I don't have a good answer for this, it is mostly the way we are raised. We get "booboos" and instantly parents and friends swarm upon us to see if we are allright and if they can do anything to help the pain. Just look at the pharmacutical companies, painkiller is the number one drug sold. Perhaps the way that we are raised needs to change. Pain should be accepted instead of shunned. One can go so far as to say that pain should be relished, enjoyed, intoxicating. Think about it, when you are in pain your adrenaline spikes to make your body ready for anything else that might happen. Pain is the easiest and most common adrenaline rush. So why is it so feared? Pain is a useful tool, it is a warning system, it lets you know that your body is being harmed and is to keep you from getting killed.
Now I am not saying that we should go out and start cutting ourselves like goths and cutters. That is stupid. They do that for attention and there is the rare instance in which they actually are trying to kill themselves. Pain is something to be accpeted, but killing yourself without some purpose to it is just stupid.
Pain should not be such a dramatic part of our lives. Pain is a warning system, but we have grown weak in our years of evolution. Mere scratches cause little kids to whine and cry. Teenagers and adults get pissed at simply bumping their toe or head. Pain should be a gift that we relish, but not one that we abuse. | | |
| Okay enough of complaining to me about how I have not updated, I am currently grounded for stupid reasons and have better things to do. Anyhow, so here is my update.
